Functieomschrijving

As a Digital Marketing Specialist at Quad, your primary mission is to boost our recruitment efforts for software developers. We believe that a significant part of our challenge in attracting quality applicants lies in raising awareness about who we are and what we do. Your role is crucial in bridging this gap through strategic marketing and communication. You will be researching, developing and implementing marketing campaigns and strategies that not only promote our brand but also specifically target potential candidates, showcasing the unique opportunities and culture our company offers.

The kinds of things you'll be doing:

  • Target audience research: Analyse the developer niche we are actively trying to recruit, which channels they use of how to best reach them.

  • Website Content Implementation: Drive the implementation of new website content, turning our ideas and plans into engaging information that attracts the right job candidates.

  • Advertising Campaign Analysis: Manage and analyze both paid and organic advertising campaigns, identifying the most successful strategies for recruitment marketing.

  • Employee Network Utilization: Develop strategies to effectively leverage employee networks for recruitment. Find ways to expand our reach and engage potential candidates on platforms like LinkedIn.

  • Targeted Recruitment Campaigns: Roll out recruitment campaigns tailored for different groups such as interns, graduates, and experienced professionals. Evaluate the effectiveness of both paid and unpaid strategies to determine the best platforms and approaches for reaching potential software developers.

  • Podcast Guest Outreach: Develop a systematic approach for podcast guest outreach, ensuring a consistent lineup of interesting guests. Your strategy will contribute to maintaining this pipeline, enhancing our brand visibility among potential recruits.

  • Podcast Marketing: Actively market our podcast episodes before and after release to maximize reach. Analyze feedback to determine what resonates with listeners, be it content, guests, or marketing tactics, and use these insights to attract potential applicants.

  • Event Campaign Management: Set up and manage digital campaigns for events like J-Fall, optimizing every stage from pre-event hype to live updates and post-event engagement. These events are key in raising our profile among potential software developer candidates.

  • Event Logistics: Oversee event logistics, ensuring effective showcasing of marketing materials like banners and merchandise. Post-event, focus on converting contacts into recruitment leads.

Automation and AI

Your research or present knowledge might lead to automating and/or use of AI (LLM’s, agents) to make us reach goals faster or easier. But never for the sake of “using the latest technology”. So if you have ambitions of experience in automations and/or implementing AI solutions, perfect. If not, we’ll rely on some good old fashioned handwork.

Growth and Expansion Potential:

You’ll be deeply involved in the day-to-day marketing activities – laying the groundwork, setting up processes and automations. Understanding the ins and outs of our operations and help us transition from hands-on execution to a strategic marketing plan.

This is an ideal opportunity for students who like to do more than write some ads and manage campaigns. Someone who prefers to step away from mediocrity and willing to start with hands-on work to establish a strong foundation. Fresh insights and expertise will be invaluable not just in executing current strategies, but also in shaping the future of our marketing department. If you’re looking for an internship with significant growth potential (even after your graduation) this internship offers that pathway.
